Just discovered 'Strange as Angels' an album of Cure covers sung by Chrystabell (a long time David Lynch collaborator, and an FBI agent in 'Twin Peaks') accompanied by the Nouvelle Vague guy. What's not to like about any of that!

My favourite track is 'One Hundred Years' if only for the pleasure of hearing my favourite ever Robert Smith opening line ("it doesn't matter if we all die") sung in a torch singer style!

If you're still looking for interviewees, I'd imagine Chrystabell has pleny of stories worth hearing.

Oh, and before I forget, you've not given my music themed novel a try yet at https://challenge69.substack.com

I discovered my dad's friend Jim Crawford makes music and I listened on Spotify and he makes beautiful folk songs tinged with traditional Irish influences. This song "Yelling at Me" particularly strikes me as worth a listen: https://open.spotify.com/track/2TwGxD151S0okTezBceg38?si=3d1f962b3f2e46f0

It's funny because when I listened to the music you sent me, the few first notes of guitar reminded me of another music : https://open.spotify.com/track/2ITMAIFknTPjTTcGroEz5I?si=91186ad3747a409a

Thank you, I really liked it because it brought back memories

What a beautiful song by Alela Diane! I hadn't heard of her, so this is yet another gift from Small Ears. Glad you liked Yelling at Me too.
